In 2000, 2002, and 2008 a three way tie occurred with the Metro West, Metro East, and Northern Stars all having 2-1 records. In 2007, a three way tied occured with Metro West, Metro East, and Southern Stars all having 2-1 records. In 2020, due to COVID-19, there was not a MSHSL Baseball Season, ergo, the All-Star Series was cancelled.
The first 13 years of the tournament involved only two squads playing a three game series. The Metro squad had a very closely contested 15-14 margin over the Minnesota(Outstate) squad.
