The Minnesota Baseball Coaches Association has teamed up with the American Baseball Coaches Association to give all of the head coaches in the state of Minnesota a free Video On Demand account with two free videos loaded into your library. The ABCA set up a new site to release their convention videos as DVDs or as an online stream through their website. You can view the videos on any device that can connect to the internet (phone, laptop, desktop, tablet, etc) and take the instructional content anywhere you go.

The ABCA will also be running sales specific to Minnesota coaches and you will be emailed promo codes if you want to participate and build your library of videos. The ABCA is giving you two free videos. They are:

1. Jack Leggett, Clemson University – “Taking Your Practice to the Next Level” (2011)

2. Travis Jewett, Vanderbilt – “Hitting ‘Ain’t’ Perfect: Creating Margin For Error In Your Swing For Offensive Success” (2015)

To view the videos, go to http://abcavideos.org/, and click on the My Account icon on the home page. Your username is the text before the @ sign on your email. For example, john.doe@k12.mn.us, would have a username of john.doe and your password is MN0301. It is recommended you change the password after you sign in. One stipulation with the system. If it picks up too many users or IP addresses under your log in info, the account will be shut down. After you sign in, go to the My Library link or icon and the views will be listed there.

The first promotion the ABCA will be doing for us is a Buy 2 VOD titles and get 1 Free. If you want to take part in that, select the videos you want and enter promo code MN243 during the checkout process. The VOD content will load immediate into your library. If you'd rather stick with DVDs, you can use promo code MN243D and DVDs will ship the next day. The sale ends on March 31, 2015.
